There are two main categories of drugs for treating Alzheimer’s, i.e.: (1) Cholinesterase inhibitors These include the prescription drugs Aricept/donepezil, Razadyne/galantamine, and Exelon/rivastigmine, and the over-the-counter “supplement” huperzine A.
